Where the money goes

Two funds, both built from the same belief: women don't need to be rescued, they need the thing that was missing. A safe place to land, and a trade that pays.

Fund one

The Safe Home Fund

A safe, sober home for pregnant and newly parenting moms in early recovery.

Recovery in the first year of motherhood is brutal without a door that locks and a bed that's yours. This fund is raising toward a purpose-built home where pregnant women and new moms in early recovery can stay with their babies instead of being separated from them.

Residents get private rooms, on-site recovery support, doula and postpartum care, transportation to meetings and appointments, and help lining up work and housing before they leave.

  • Cribs, car seats, and postpartum supplies
  • On-site recovery and doula support
  • Transportation and childcare stipends

Fund two

The Women in Trades Scholarship

Tuition, tools, and childcare so a woman can walk into a trade that pays.

A living wage changes what a woman can survive. This scholarship covers the real barriers between women and skilled trade careers, welding, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, CDL, and heavy equipment.

Awards cover program tuition, the tool and boot list, testing and licensing fees, and childcare during training, with a mentor from the sisterhood for the first year on the job.

19% funded

  • Tools, boots, and safety gear
  • Childcare during training hours
